Working with a team towards designing an app has been very educational and eye opening. My group and I started this Design Sprint for domino's ask our “How Might We” questions and came up with 14 questions all together. As we reviewed our questions, the questions that stood out to us most as a consumer were:
1. HMW... Bring recipes from other countries to the US for a limited time?
2. HMW... Make a pizza flavor contest?
3. HMW... do a “golden ticket” for discounted pizza?
4. HMW... Create a domino’s credit card?

We then narrowed our options down to two:
1. HMW... Bring recipes from other countries to the US for a limited time?
2. HMW... Make a pizza flavor contest?

We split our group up to meet with another group to show each other how we would place an order for pizza and explaining our thoughts of the process.

Afterword's my group and I finalized our decision to create a pizza flavor contest as a pop-up ad on the domino's app.
We all created 3 prototype sketches we believed should be included on the app. We all limed our copies side by side and places colored star stickers on concepts that stood out to us called heat mapping.

As team leader, I created 5 prototype sketches to what our app would look like on mobile device.

During class, teams presented their ideas for approval. Unfortunately, my group was skipped due to time but we realize our decision was a mistake. We realized we were to make it easier for a customer to decide what they would like for dinner when in a group setting.

My group and I met up the next day for an hour and decided to come up with other ideas. We wanted to be different from the other groups with our solutions.

We decided to go with creating a game following the 5-3-1 methods but changed it to an 8-6-4 methods. This means a group of people sign into our app and create a group. Once everyone is ready, everyone gets to pick 8 topping items they would not mind being on the final pizza. Then with everyone's picks combined, everyone picks only 6 toppings. After this step, everyone gets to spin a domino. Whoever gets snake eyes gets to select the final 4 topping for the pizza. The final pizza appears and the winner hits finish order.

As we have continued to create our wire-frame, we are realizing the challenges of time and creating an app within marvel. There has been some confusion as to what the final product will look like but we are all slowly getting on the same page and make our final decisions. We will be meeting up again before class to work together rather on our own time to make sure everything is clear and on track. This process has been an interesting experience but great incite into what it is like to work on a team.
Team Member Evaluations:
Hannah Lee: Hannah has been great with providing ideas. She pointed out when we realized we had made a mistake for our design sprint decision. She took a lot of pictures of the group which I believe to be very useful to look back at and see our facial reactions during the process. I give Hannah a 5/5 evaluation.
Joah Campbell: Joah has provided great ideas and came up with the idea of the spinning domino which everyone agreed to go forward with. He also had great sketch ideas from the beginning of the process which we all loved but unfortunately had to leave behind due to our decision mistake. He has began to help with illustrations which has made it easier splitting up the work. I give Joah a 5/5 evaluation.
Evie Weeden: Evie is one of our teammates from Amaras class. Due to the complication of who needed to have what done from the different classes, she was out of the loop here and there until the rest of the group and I brought her up to date. She did have great ideas and created a sketch from our first idea which we have all agreed to continue to incorporate into our final product. She has also been the one to start working on our wire-frame prototype in Marvel app. I give Evie a 5/5 evaluation.
Kate Fox: As a team member of this group, I have been making the decisions for my group, organized meeting times and locations, created three versions of prototype sketches, two different versions of steps for the product design, came up with the 8-6-4 methods for our final app product, and Illustrated the prototypes which Evie put into the Marvel app for our wire-frame prototype. I give myself a 5/5 evaluation.
